Fun Redesign
I had some fun re-designing a favorite running app of mine, Strava.  The application has done wonders for me, but I felt the profile page concept could be pushed a little further.

Here's a thought of where it could go-

Also- re-thinking the Strava Premium Badge for members who signup for the premium version of the app (Strava Summit)

AR & VR pivot.
Ran a small exercise today for our North America Design Group. The goal was to show (how to/how might we) make small changes to existing UX exercises (such as User Journey Mapping) to include for AR and VR solutions.  Definitely a shift, but a fun one.
Process Flowing
A very rough and dirty task flow of a specific packing process. Ideally this would be more detailed, but it'll do the trick for understanding a process and generating a prototype under a few days.

Behavioral Change Story Time

I think it took the team weeks, before we realized Behavioral Change is more than just weight loss. Behavior Change is the combination of small changes in your life that help you achieve a healthier life.  (one by-product of a successful behavior change is losing weight, but is not the immediate goal.)

Another principle we learned along the way- was that it's not about making these behaviors mandatory, but instead it's about finding the right 5 or 6 that are right for the user. After finding them, the activities have a much higher success rate.

We didn't set out to design a monster app that could "do it all", (that's just not feasible) but instead we set out to design a platform that could leveraged the best apps out there. For example: Strava (through gamification & social sharing motivating us to keep moving) and Amazon Fresh & Plated (changing how we pick and choose healthier meals) or The HeadSpace App (guiding us through a quick meditation to reduce our stress levels) These are all free apps that are out there... so the concept was by bringing these amazing apps together maybe we could create a more holistic picture and solution for Behavioral Change as a whole.

This Proof of Concept unfortunately did not make it to production, but I'm always humbled when working on such a project, and for that I'm extremely thankful.
